These terms apply to Grant Desk, provided by Ravel Strategy Group (“Ravel,” “we,” or “us”). By using Grant Desk, you agree to them, to our privacy policy, and to our mutual confidentiality agreement.
Free funding dashboard
Your Grant Desk funding dashboard is free: the programs your organization qualifies for, how much they're worth and when they're due. You pay only if you decide to use Ravel's paid services, such as the Grant Desk Business plan or Fractional COO work. Paid services are agreed with you in writing before they start, and you can always meet Sameena first.
Paying for a plan
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, at the price shown on your plan page, plus HST. Payments are processed by Stripe by card or pre-authorized debit, or invoiced by Ravel. Any minimum term stated for your plan applies. You can pause or cancel by emailing us; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for. Grant Desk never sees or stores your card or bank account numbers.
What Grant Desk does
Grant Desk helps clients find funding programs and prepare and track applications. Funders make their own decisions. Funding is not guaranteed.
You are responsible for reviewing every application, for submitting it yourself, and for the accuracy and completeness of everything you submit. Grant Desk never submits applications or sends emails automatically. AI-drafted answers must be checked before use.
Program information can change
Deadlines, amounts and eligibility come from funders and can change without notice. Grant Desk checks official pages, but always confirm the details on the funder's own site before you apply.
Confidentiality
Both sides keep each other's information confidential under our mutual confidentiality agreement, which the person starting your Grant Desk accepts on your organization's behalf.
Your AI agent
If you connect your own AI agent, you choose what it may do. An answer your agent confirms counts as confirmed by you, and you are responsible for it as if you had confirmed it yourself. Every change an agent makes is recorded and can be undone. Agents cannot send emails, submit applications, delete information or change who has access. Keep your connection key private, and disconnect an agent you no longer use.
Ravel as a paid advisor
Some programs pay for outside experts. When an application names Ravel or Sameena Velshi as a paid consultant or expert, we will tell you before it is submitted, and the application will disclose it as the funder requires.
Acceptable use
You may not use Grant Desk to create or share unlawful content, or try to access another company's information or desk. You are responsible for activity carried out by the people you invite and the agents you connect. Free dashboards include a fair-use limit on AI research.
Ravel's work
Grant Desk, including its software, design, program research, templates and methods, belongs to Ravel. You may use it to prepare your own organization's applications. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or redistribute it, or use it to build a competing service. Your organization's information and the applications you prepare remain yours.
Ending access
You may close your desk at any time by writing to us. Ravel may suspend or end access if we reasonably believe the service is being misused or these terms are being broken. When a desk is closed, its information is deleted within 30 days, as described in our privacy policy.
Limits
To the extent permitted by law, Ravel's total liability relating to Grant Desk is limited to the fees you paid to Ravel in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow that limit.
Governing law
Ontario law and the applicable laws of Canada govern these terms.
Changes to these terms
We will post changes on this page and update the date at the top. Continued use of Grant Desk after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
